ArchEX Linux is an open source distribution of Linux based on the well known Arch Linux operating system and built around the lightweight LXDE desktop environment, providing users with a fast, stable and modern OS that runs well on old computers.

ArchEX Dual boot 64bit/32bit is a new (151117) Linux live DVD based on Arch Linux. Arch motto is KISS (“Keep It Simple Stupid”).

ArchEX uses kernel 4.2.5-1-ARCH and the LXDE Desktop environment. While booting up you can choose between ArchEX 64bit version and ArchEX 32bit version.

Default applications include the GIMP image editor, Mozilla Firefox web browser, Leafpad text editor, PCManFM file manager, LXTerminal terminal emulator, GPicView image viewer, Wicd network connection manager, Zenmap network scanner, AbiWord word processor, LXMusic audio player.

ArchEX can easily be installed to hard drive while running the system live. (From DVD/USB). You can then change locale from English to any other language.
