CherryTree is an open source and multi-platform application designed from the ground up to be used as a sophisticated and hierarchical note-taking utility under the GNU/Linux platform.

It is also compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating systems.

This development is similar to a text processor, with the exception that it saves everything that we write in a small database.

Thus, we’ll be able to organize any note hierarchically depending on which project it belongs to in a simple and graphical manner.

The application is written in the Python programming language and uses the GTK+ GUI toolkit for the graphical user interface.

It supports both GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows operating system, running on 32-bit or 64-bit hardware platforms.

All in all, if you need a good software with which to keep your notes organized, and making it very easy to save and edit them, CherryTree can be the application for you.
