ImageMagick is an open-source project composed of various command-line services for managing image files. It is available in nearly all Linux distributions.
The application holds over 200 picture file formats, including, but not restricted to, JPG, PhotoCD, PNG, SVG, DPX, GIF, PDF, EXR, JPEG-2000, PhotoCD, Postscript, and TIFF.
